Drought–Flood Impact Analysis Platform (HIMS next generation)
Next-generation rebuild of HII’s HIMS platform: a Laravel admin and analysis portal, API gateway, time-enabled map layers and analysis tools for drought and flood impact.
The Hydro-Informatics Institute’s HIMS platform integrates observed data, forecast models and satellite products for flood and drought management. In this phase GeoInfo is rebuilding the platform on a modern stack.
- Laravel admin and analysis portal on PostgreSQL, with a Kong API gateway and API-key management.
- ThaID, LDAP and Google sign-in, with usage-statistics dashboards.
- Time-enabled WMS-T map layers (for example Bangkok radar), flood and drought forecast layers and reservoir inflow charts.
- Analysis tools such as an equation-based calculator and GSMaP alert-threshold tuning.
